Leadership is a quality that is valued at Home Hill State School. Our leaders are expected to fulfil responsibilities during their final year of primary school.
Two School Captains and Vice-Captains are selected each year by staff and peers. They work together to positively promote activities and efforts of students and the school. The role of our school captains includes communicating with administration, staff and students at school events and assemblies.

A Student Council is also formed at Home Hill State School. A Student Council gives students an opportunity to develop leadership skills by organising and carrying out school activities and service projects. The student body liaises with the Administration team and Year 6 teachers to share students' ideas, interests, concerns, and help raise funds for school-wide activities, including social events and community projects.
